4. Thanks.

I wanted to move a bit further into the road, but I had a blind curve at my back.

6. Thanks, CrispyQ.

Rain off and on again this week. Lovely and much needed now, it will probably make for an active fire season this summer.

8. We've had two fires recently - already.

We are seriously behind in precipitation for March. Hopefully we will get some rain the next week.

7. I love the crimson bark maple

I like to take shots like that one. I don't get to look at the picture threads lately due to limited band width, at my friend's house I can look at them and I am pleased!

9. Thanks.

I drove an hour for the first two. The Crimson Bark Maple is on the front porch.

10. sometimes...

the best material/subjects are right outside the door!

I relocated last Fall and am getting used to my new area, just as wild and scenic as the last place but less traffic. I just haven't been out with the camera much so far, and having the bandwidth to do my photobucket linking. May have to wait until I find a more permanent home first... hopefully by the end of summer.

13. I really like the last one. Love the red, the depth to it, and those hanging drops of water.

Nice shots!

14. Thanks.

I really like the bokeh the Sigma 50-100mm lens produces.
