My husband is a bit put off by their taste in poo. (They will feed off dog poo from time to time)
That habit can really get in the way of a good shot when you follow them around hoping to get one.

It didn't make sense, you know? This beautiful butterfly sitting on poo. Then I noticed its proboscis actively working the brown stuff.
I was grossed for a few seconds and then shrugged it off. Nature is nature and obviously the butterfly needed whatever it was getting.
I would never kiss a GF though. Ever.
