Hey everybody, it's time to announce the theme for the February Photo Contest!
The theme is:
Back to the Future
The general concept:
Stuff that used to be considered the cutting edge of technology - things, places, etc which at one time were the awesome newest tech on earth and now are abandoned to the past.
Be creative! Have fun!
The submissions and comments for submissions threads will close either when 30 submissions have been received or timing becomes an issue, whichever comes first.

Some things to bear in mind...
Please keep your entry no larger than 1024 pixels in its longest dimension and under 675K in file size. If you need help posting a photograph or with image sizing, just ask.
The winner of the contest agrees to host the next month's contest (or recruit someone else to host the contest), and pick the next month's theme. The host of the monthly contest cannot enter the contest they are hosting.
The Submission & Comment threads will be posted in the Photography Group. The Preliminary polls and Final Contest poll will be posted in GD per Skinner’s permission.
