i tromped around for the first time in a long time

took a walk the other evening in the hopes of catching some bald eagles. i spotted a few nests but no one was home, but it wasn't a wasted walk.

it was cold out

but that didn't bother the geese

this one shouted at me a few times for hovering. damned near sure it was a golden eagle.

I don't know how I'd keep the blues at bay if it weren't for my daily walks with Snowy. Makes me start out
the morning with a much different view of the world.

Nice color background for the trees - sort of a light purple/blue.

In fact, I downloaded it. Thanks, Fizz!

The tail and pointed wings makes me think it is a Peregrine Falcon.

I saw my first eagle back in the late sixties in Africa. I was awestruck.
