Tally, our Beauceron. 18 years old.

1. Such a regal beast!

He is quite handsome!

2. We have three dogs, all rescues.

Tally is the largest, followed by a Chorkie and a Chihuahua.

We rescued her from the pound when she was about 3 or 4 (not certain of the age). Smartest dog I've ever owned, hands down.

3. Still looks strong

He looks good for being (wow) 18! A very handsome beast.

4. She doesn't get around so well anymore.

Hips and joints give her trouble, some days worse than others. She's on a special diet for her kidneys, and she gets some mild pain meds. Honestly, I'm not sure how much longer she'll go before it's Time.

We have three dogs but she owns that couch.

5. Well she's an old beauty

Sorry I thought she was a he!

And I know from having 18 year old pets there's always that thought in the back of your mind, even subconscious, that their time with us is shortening. And so we love and care for them more.

6. So far everyone has mistaken her for a he.

I will keep this from her, in order to spare her feelings.
