Fall colors on the tundra

This is in the Finger Mountain area of the Dalton Highway on August 27. Fall comes early up here.

and so was the wind. If you jumped up, the wind would pick you up and carry you a couple feet. I was afraid my hair would be in all the pics I took from this spot.

Also the vastness of it all was impossible to capture.
