but I downloaded it and will certainly give it a try. Thanks very much for sharing.

Be aware, the minimum system requirements are pretty heavy duty: http://www.ononesoftware.com/products/effects8/specs/

but it says I need to update my video card to OpenGL2.0.

I am computer illiterate. What does this mean? Do I need to take this over to my computer guy?

You can do that in your Device Manager under Display Adapters. If you need more info, let me know.

If that doesn't do it and you're not comfortable messing with the guts of your computer, you should take it to your computer guy to upgrade to a video card compatible with OpenGL2.0.

will tell you that after you click on update driver. Choose to let Windows look for the driver, if there is a new one, it will update. If there isn't a new driver, it will just say so and you don't need to do anything.

My drivers are up-to-date, but there seems to be some chatter on-line that it won't do OpenGL. My video card is ATI Radeon X1200 series. I have a call in to my computer guy who's going to check to see if there's anything I can do from here or if I will need a different video card.

OK, computer guy says that Raydeon just hasn't caught up yet and that I should check for updated drivers periodically over the next couple of months. In the meantime, I'll just keep using my PaintShop, but this program does look good.
