How to post photos to DUThis discussion thread was locked by CC (a host of the Photography group). Log into your Photobucket account and go to your Home page. Click the orange (for now) upload button. 
Drag the photo/s you want to upload into the box. 
Wait for them to finish uploading. 
Go find your photo in your library and click on it. 
When it loads you will see "Links to share this photo" on the right. Click on Direct. It should highlight and say Copied. 
Paste into your post... 
When you are finished preview your post. If everything looks good post your thread. I don't edit in photobucket so for help there I would ask someone that does or just play around with it. Playing is a great way to learn.

8. Also for Photobucket you don't have to click on the photo. You can set up

Photobucket to have the links below the thumbnail photos. Like I did for these gifs.

as I have, and likely will have water in most of my pics.
'Horizon' here not really level, as its largely the other shore of the river, which has its ups and downs, tree-wise. Don't know that there will be much soon, as clouds and rain predicted, and probably leaving here in a couple of days for business closer to town AND daughter about to give birth. Will try to keep up with weather forecastsbut let me know, please, if you hear of a good patch. Can be here in about 2 hours, if not otherwise occupied!

Editing to add. I stole your picture. I straighten the water's horizon line up in PhotoShop and then had to crop it a bit since I turned it. That way you can see where and what I was talking about. It is a beautiful photo in a beautiful place. I'm almost jealous but just happy you can share the beauty.

23. If you have a Flickr account here is how you do it.

After you upload your images, select the image you want and click it.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/alfredo_tomato/13203134253/ See the three dots on the bottom right? Click them and select "View all sizes." Now right click the image and copy image URL. If it works out, this image should appear when you preview/post. 
Practice using the first link from above. His name is Don and he's a dedicated human rights activist and foster parent. |

So I played around with it and came up with how to copy photos to DU with the new format.
-On the lower right hand corner of the photo there are three icons -The middle one is an arrow -When you hover over that it will say "Share this photo" -Click the arrow and then click BB Code -Copy the code and paste it in your post [url=https://flic.kr/p/pN9RiA][img]  [/img][/url][url=https://flic.kr/p/pN9RiA]Mine Falls Park - 2011[/url] by [url=https://www.flickr.com/people/9005871@N04/]tsegat1[/url], on Flickr
