(14,889 posts)Although the guitar is the main subject, the musician clearly adds to the lonliness, the angst of the photo.
So are we taling guitars? I took this one a couple of years ago. The musican, the owner of the "Blue Guitar" is very talented!

(90,762 posts)I was more doing a homage to Picasso and that painting and wondered if people had photos that reminded them of an artist they admired or a painting/sculpture/whatever they really liked. I was remembering Mira's fall leaves. How great they were...and how it put to mind Jackson Pollock.
Also, I'm still practicing my people shots. lol
I really like your guitar photo!

(14,889 posts)I did get the connection of your series, but obviously didn't follow through with your idea. But . . . it's a great idea!
Rarely do I take portraits, although I do take "people" shots when photographing events, etc. Hmmmmm . . . will have to put my thinking cap on!

(90,762 posts)I'm not comfortable with portraits so I've been pushing myself to do more. Trying to get more at ease with it.
Looking forward to see what you come up with!

(22,756 posts)Hmmm.... "Just A Touch of Blue" is thought provoking as the musician's personality wanes behind the guitar...

(90,762 posts)I'm still working on people shots..profiles, etc. Thought I'd turn it into a game of sorts. Take a painting/artist I liked and put my own spin on it.
