1. your color photo is fascinating - how did you

get these colors?

Here is mine in color, I had turned it to b/w immediately when I took it, now seeing it in color again I like it

2. Hazy daylight with 4000k white balance and greenish tint. This a was a side effect of terrible

auto white balance. Here's what it looks like with the colors fixed.

I actually prefer it this way, corrected for daylight that is.

7. I like it best this natural way. The ground color being almost

uniformly sepia "industrializes" the look. I'm going to crop this a little differently just to look at it, I want the blue gone.

13. Looks good. I originally cropped it tighter around the framing area like this.

Then I went back to the original size. I think for the size of the pictures that we are using on here, your crop works pretty good.

This was the original. It was taken as a jpeg, not a raw unfortunately.


First I popped up the saturation. Next I burned in the black trees, especially those in the reflection and then I dodged the yellow brush along the left bank.

21. Peggy's Cove in Color

It was just a perfect day here with high winds to whip up the sea and clouds. This picture had 14 tourists in them, all gone complements of Photoshop. Black and White complements of NIK software Silver Effects Pro.

Took me this long to upload a photo to Photobucket, what with their changing it. Had to figure out how to go to the old one!
