(92,079 posts)Change/growth/new opportunities - my goals in life and photography.
There's a tall shrub behind my house with dozens of them on it. The ones in the tree are too high for me to get at. (and the webbing kinda creeps me out)
I'll check from time to time for their winter pupa stage. Maybe get a shot of them. Then next spring/summer I'll look for the moth. (Hyphantria cunea)

(11,871 posts)Mexico is a photographer's paradise. Architecture, nature, history, you name it. This image was from a trip to Queretaro I took for a conference around Day of the Dead a few years ago. It's the only time I've been in Mexico, in the fall, with a working camera.

(15,812 posts)a personal muse, expressing the autumn season, very clever.....especially the moos, LOL. I particularly liked it that that one was first out of the gate, so to speak.
I like the added twist on the seasonal theme, too. It is nice to shake things up a bit. Not good to stay too long in a comfort zone.........I mean, a lot of "normal" autumn contests have come and gone since I started posting here. And yep, it is fun to see what people come up with. When I was thinking about what to enter, it made me look through my archives with a new filter, so to speak. That was interesting.

(22,462 posts)and the photographs submitted so far - it all makes me very happy.
I like the idea of shaking things up a bit and putting a more personal spin on it. I think this will fill up with submissions, and that will be nice to see again.

Also, interesting location... This is Karen Blixen (Isaak Dennison) house in Kenya. Remember Out of Africa...?
