Does anybody stateside remember this song? It was released in the US in December 1981 and hit #2 on the charts in the UK in 1982. Although the lyrics to the song has multiple meanings including references to heroin addiction, the alternating 6/8 and 7/8 measures has a somewhat hypnotic and addictive effect.
