1. Greatful Dead exported more US Americana in 1972 than the rest of the music industry did

in text 40 years? Europe loved the Dead doing Merle Haggard.

3. Pigpen got a lot of airtime.

And so did the B-3. Amazing music....the Dead were brilliant. Bob, Jerry, and Pigpen were all influencing themselves at this moment in time and this is an awesome album of music.
