Ever hear of The Royal Southern Brotherhood? Sadly they're no longer together

But they were one of my favorites.

My wife and I saw them every chance we got - Which was pretty often at first since Mike and Devon are both from St Louis and they performed here quite a bit

This was the 1st lineup we saw:
Cyril Neville (The Meters and Neville Brothers) on Vocals and Percussion
Devon Allman (HoneyTribe, Allman Trucks Band and solo) Vocals and Guitar
Mike Zito (Solo) Guitar
Ronrico Scott (Tedeschi Trucks Band, Eric Clapton) Drums
Charlie Wooten (Zydefunk, Bonerama, solo) Bass

Over the course of 4 albums, Mike and Devon Left and were replaced with Bart Walker and Tyrone Vaughn (Nephew of Stevie Ray and son of Jimmy Vaughn) and Charlie Wooten was replaced by Darrel Phillips on base.

But Cyril's vocals never faltered Ronrico was still a monster and the new guys could all play their asses off.

I doubt they'll ever reform since Cyril is in his 70s and the other guys are involved with various projects, but they had an amazing (but overlooked) 6 years.
