...If you're a Netflix subscriber but haven't seen it yet, they're currently running a short documentary about RJ called, "Devil At The Crossroads" and Keith is in it. I wish it had been longer but it's still good viewing...

and you should play them around 73-75 RPM.

How much this recording was improved by being played slower and how much was the digital remastering/cleaning?

IDK, but it's a good sounding version nonetheless

"Up Jumped the Devil"

There's also a short documentary on Netflix called "Devil at the Crossroads," based largely on this new book (the author, Bruce Conforth, is also in the documentary).

Worth checking out both if you're a Robert Johnson fan (or just a blues fan).

...I saw the Netflix doc (see post #3) but didn't know about the book so I just ordered it.

I thought the Netflix thing was pretty good. I only got my copy of the book yesterday, but it looks great and I can't wait to dig in.
