Pat Metheny - Last Train Home

I've enjoyed Pat Metheny Group since High School (Dad was a music major, we learned there' more out there than rock-n-roll). Last Train Home has always been one of my favorites. Had the pleasure seeing Pat Metheny Group perform live in my area many years ago.

Anyone else appreciate Pat Metheny Group?

and I do appreciate and enjoy this kind of music. This selection is cool because they re-create the sound and the feel of the train running on the tracks.

2. Pat Metheny is at the top of my list

The Pat Metheny Group, with Lyle Mays (another favorite artist) is purely magical to me. I have seen them perform many times. They are one of the few bands that truly get better over time.

Pat's recent touring group, Pat Metheny and Friends (with Antonio Sanchez, Gwilym Simcock and Linda Oh) is as good as any of his previous groups. I saw them in 2017. They played for 3 hours straight through starting with music from Bright Size Life and moving forward to their new stuff. 3 hours of goosebumps for me. I'm glad that's not a medical emergency of any kind.
