First off, Merry Christmas to all, Happy Holidays and I wish a healthy and prosperous New Year to all of us. Thanks to everyone for helping us to avoid the same awful remakes of about dozen songs, a dozen horrible horrible songs. You know what I'm talking about - Songs so lame that Jesus healing them would've counted as 12 separate miracles. Instead:

6. I've amassed a Holiday library of over 150 CDs
A few years ago, I took an older iPod and ripped all of the CDs then loaded them into the iPod. It's nice and convenient to have a dedicated device for use during the 6 weeks of the end-of-year holidays.
Remarkably, the best way to play the thing is in Shuffle mode. It's crazy but everything-- including The Chipmunks!-- goes together. |

7. Major old Christmas music going on here!
Kitty even likes it. A little Bing, some Sinatra, and Kraftwerk. Among others! Great CD player that mixes them up in this little cabin - and not loud enough to disturb the "neighbors" several acres away.
CD player is now 17! We gave it a party last month. Oh Holy Night remains a favorite. Merriest to everyone! Oh, and I'm cooking so c'mon up! |
