TCM Schedule for Monday October 1 - Star of the Month: Spencer Tracy

After a daytime birthday tribute to Walter Matthau, TCM launches its Spencer Tracy salute with some of his earliest film work.

1. I caught a bit of "Me and My Gal."

And I saw Robert Osborne's introduction. It's a Raoul Walsh-directed film starring Spencer Tracy, and tonight was its TCM premiere.

It's also pre-Code, which means we're nowhere near Father Flanagan territory.
