TCM Schedule for Wednesday, May 12: TCM Spotlight: Order in the Court
Oh, we're going to have fun today! TCM is celebrating Katharine Hepburn's birthday, and there's a little something for everybody, including screwball comedy, her most popular pairings with Spencer Tracy, and of course The Philadelphia Story. There's even a documentary.
Hepburn sneaks into tonight's theme, too, Order in the Court, with Adam's Rib. And if you haven't seen The Talk of the Town (1:30 a.m.), in which Ronald Colman plays a potential Supreme Court nominee, Cary Grant plays a fugitive, and Jean Arthur does a great turn in a story which veers from comedy to romance to still pertinent questions about the law and freedom, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
