Ball of Fire is of course a particular favorite of mine, but I must also give a shoutout to The Front, a funny and heartbreaking look at the early days of television and the effects of HUAC. Quite a few of the people involved in the project, including screenwriter Walter Bernstein and actors Herschel Bernardi and Zero Mostel, actually had been blacklisted.
