Playing around with acrylic paints

Just to have some fun. This one is 8x8 inches. Calling it “Walking Away From Omelas.”

1. Nice colors

I recognize some of the pigments from colors we use in plastics.

2. Thanks! Acrylic paint does feel very "plastic" to me and it brings out a

Child like sensibility in me. I want to finger paint with it....

6. Thank you so much! I was thinking about how our nation could come together and

Walk away from the Trump administration, take a different and better, kinder path.

9. To me it says there are a whole host of adults and ancestors behind

children that teach them to stand and grow and go. But i'm projecting.

13. When I play with my art supplies, I feel like a child again....

Before I developed MS, before I worried about the state of the world, before I was aware of all the ways in which I am and always will be, a failure in life. It feels good to have all of that off my shoulders for awhile and just have periods of time when I play with the pretty bright colors,

I hope everyone here has a way of playing, something that makes them feel happy and free of cares.
