Suggestion for online sellers: visit Repatoo.com

I was able to import my eBay feedback to a new storefront using Repatoo. An account costs $8 total. Since doing so I have had a few sales, and am pretty sure that my having positive feedback has given potential buyers some confidence.

One can use Repatoo to import feedback into several online auction and sales sites (including Etsy and Bonanza). I opened a store on ebid.net - it has way less visitors than eBay, but most items are picked up by Google Search, so there is a good chance your stuff can be found if you have good descriptions and follow simple guidelines.

Good luck to all of you online sellers!

Isn't anything - even your own feedback - copyrighted by ebay if it's on their site? Vinca Feb 2012 #1
It looks like eBay owns the feedback comments, but not a member's numbers veness Mar 2012 #2

It makes sense maybe to link to it, but I don't know how I'd feel about importing it unless somewhere ebay says you can do whatever you want with it.

Am pasting some info below to help us understand this resource.

Copying the actual comments is against ebay's rules -- that is copyrighted text -- but not the numbers, although ebay has made various attempts at blocking various fb importers. The member does own the the numbers, but actually ebay owns the comments.

Create links/"badges" to include in your auctions, profiles, signatures, or anywhere else. Once you have created a Repatoo account and added at least one auction account, you can create static image or dynamic "badge" links that will let potential buyers view your feedback details with one click.
