Did it again, bought a lot of 11 assorted prints and paintings at a local auction house for $150...

sold the first one off eBay within 48 hours for $600.
the 2nd went for $175 the next day
we'll see what happens to the rest.
I'm keeping 3 of them for myself.

2. The auction houses of Los Angeles are a hot bed of cool stuff. Plus they get some famous people's

stuff from time to time too.
This auction house I was at was also selling all the stuff for the author Jackie Collins estate.
All her furniture, art, books, glass ware etc.
Beverly Hills - swimming pools, movie stars...

3. A person I know who covered auctions for the Maine Antique Digest told me

the best place to find great deals is high end auctions. The really wealthy people wouldn't look at your lot of prints because they're more interested in a $50,000 Warhol print. Great find!

5. They had a bunch of affordable art but one piece did go for $27,500 with multiple bidders

in the room, on the internet and the phone.
It was something considering it started at $500 with an auction estimate of $10-$13K
