Dayton Air Show: Cancel a display to celebrate the dropping of the atomic bomb

It perpetuates the glamorization of destruction. The Dayton Air Show is trying to en-grain destruction and warmongering to younger generations. It is insanely inappropriate to generate a “Great Wall of Fire” for amusement at the expense of the environment. It is time for us to wake up and become responsible citizens of the world. Dayton, Ohio is known as the city of innovators and a City of Peace. The Dayton Air Show should step up to the task and cancel this insanely inappropriate event. Fortunately, many other people are willing to stand-up and object to this unwise plan to reenact destruction the name of “entertainment.”

"Show organizers today have decided to remove the Atomic Bomb Reenactment from this year’s show schedule. The reenactment was intended as an educational attraction on an event that was a significant part of American history. After review it was determined that the show did not portray that message well and it was in the best interest of everyone to remove it as an attraction."
