We're going to a wedding today and it is like before an army inspection

And the boys will be ushers at their cousins wedding my nephew ,and they were up early getting showers the triple s express minus the shaving part. Now these two guys are taking being ushers very seriously as in practicing seating using their mother. When they tried to practice with me I'd go to tickle them in their ribs and then it would end up in a wrestling match two on one. And I'm the one who comes out of late on the losing end combined their like 260 in weight to my 160 , but hey I have to do it I have to try. And our nephew is fourteen years active duty army infantry and today it will be dress blues for him and the men in the wedding. So our guys are totally impressed with the company that will be hanging with today and they want to look stract.

So I pick up our dry cleaning Thursday with starched crease in shirts , we get haircuts. Last evening the boys come into the family room fingers covered in shoe polish they were trying to spit shine their leathers. So I spent the next hour knocking out two pair shoes I told em let a 51 year old former infantry clown do it. And then I had them bag the shoes they can wear sneakers and change when we get to the church. It is total chaos here this morning as the bride and her crew is staying with us I got earlier a hey dad come here can you help me with my tie. I told them no dressing yet fellas we have to be at church at noon and it is only eight miles away. The boog the chocolate lab and I needed to escape the controlled chaos we went for a walk. And now we're on back porch having coffee, the boys are wired with positive energy and excitement. As in the bride is getting her hair done in family room bathroom by her mother and the boys playing x box in family room it is chaos. I just got dad when do we get dressed as I was walking to the patio to drink my coffee.

Thanks for sharing with us. I can feel for your boys, though. I spent two years in the Army and never, EVER, got the hang of spit-shining footwear. I guess I'm just missing the gene, and I never have been good at tying a tie. I hope all of you have a wonderful time!

Mine turn will be in about an hour. My youngest has a band competition later today. He wants to get to the school early to draw the lines on the practice field. We will go through do you have your w,x.y and have to turn the car around about 1/2 way there to get z. Last night was their last football game, so no more late Friday nights. Next week is their last competition, so no more band practice until 8 pm, after school. Monday I will call a driving school to set up his lessons. My goal is for him to have his license by Thanksgiving. Is that still a holiday or has Christmas conquered it yet?

This morning I woke up and decided that I can not binge watch Ghost Adventures and Star Trek anymore. Last night I dreamt that Image capacitors were casting spells. LOL
