Just bought tickets to see Trevor Noah do stand-up

Really more for my wife - she likes his show a lot. I mostly miss Jon. I'm still not completely into Trevor's Daily Show. But I do like Daisy and Roy Wood Jr.

But I've seen some of his stand-up and I laughed so it should be good.

I almost bought his book today (only so much $$ and had to choose) leafing through it looked good ... he has done a great takeover from Jon Stewart

It's hard to wrap my head around being bi-racial in a place where that was illegal. The shitty things humans do to each other. If I haven't already bought and read it I will get the audio version for my next long road trip (I travel for work fairly often and listening to books on tape is a fun way to get from here to there).

I think he has been good on TDS and getting better all the time but I've seen a few jokes I thought may have been stretching the truth to fit the joke. Which is not necessary as the truth is sadly hilarious enough when it comes to the Great Blumpkin. Maybe Jon did that too but I don't remember noticing it as much.

Still, TDS both now and then is still a more accurate news source than most of the rest of TV Journalism.

This was a couple years before his coming to the US and starting on the Daily Show.
