There were lots of frogs eggs inside the circular mesh net yesterday.

The koi ate all of them this morning. Miss frog sat forlornly on the plant protective net while I tried to position it so that her future babies might live long enough to become tadpoles.

Before the fish they were not rare. But neither were the mosquitoes.
