said " NO!" He isn't a year old yet. He'll be one year on the 4th.

(5,668 posts)4. Haha. My 2.5 year old granddaughter was just here visiting
with her parents for two weeks. She is British, my daughter having moved to London 10 years ago. This little girl is adorable and generally cheerful, but had several meltdowns in public places where I got involved in attempting to pick her up or grab her hand when she didn't want to be restrained. It was a first for me to have a child saying (in adorable British accent...) "NO! Naughty Grandma! Naughty Grandma!"

Not exactly her FIRST word, at 1.5 years old, but shaking her head and saying "NO," to: 'Would you like to come with Mommy?!'
