The Donut Man on Route 66

On Route 66 in Los Angeles County as it cuts through the town of Glendora, California, there is a shop thatís definitely worth stopping for if youíre feeling hungry. That would be The Donut Man, which has been serving donuts for over 40 years!

8. I've been on Route 66 in other states, but not Illinois.

I would really love to do a trip along the entirety of Route 66 some year. My wife and I have traveled along there in Arizona; lots of cool towns there, many which looked like the inspiration for Radiator City in Cars. I've seen one end of Route 66 in Santa Monica, I hope to do Chicago too!

Homer sells his soul to the devil for a doughnut. Marge bargains with the devil and gets Homer's soul back. However, Homer's been turned into a doughnut head. He's picking doughnut crumbs off of his head in his kitchen while getting ready to go to work. The next scene shows the local police force waiting in the Simpsons' front yard with coffee cups in hand!

I will say those strawberry donuts were the sweetest. If you're ever out in California, they are a must!

11. Well, I consider that a huge compliment!

My wife and I have seen so many episodes of Huell Howser, we really loved and miss him. He always chose such unique and fascinating places to showcase. We always try to keep his sense of wonder in our own videos, even if we don't have his folksy southern twang!
