Last night's MAD MEN (spoilers)

Wow...so did Don Draper really kill her? Or was it a fever-induced dream?

If he did, did his wife clean up for him afterwards?

AND - - I realized in watching this - This ep was a paralel to modern times (last week had the Romney tie in)

Basically Don Draper is giving a visual example of the war on women

A woman is to sleep with, and then when done, kill her and stuff her under the bed. Much like the GOP feels about women today.

Fever-induced hallucination I think. Don is subconsciously ashamed of his past behavior. PassingFair Apr 2012 #6

Definitely fever-induced. Although that's just my interpretation, but I just can't see this show moving into murder. Well, aside from the Chicago nurses, that is. Why did I get the feeling that they were trying to make us think the new hire was somehow involved in that? Was I in a fever-induced delusion too?

when what's-her-name rushed in with the photos, he had an immediate reaction of not wanting to discuss it or see.

While it would be nice to think there was a tie in to the REPUG "war on women", the time frame for having written and filmed this episode pre-dates most of the most onerous activities in recent news. Of course the Romney thing was undoubtedly an intended jab, since Romney's presidential run has been going on for what seems like forever.

But he can't run away from it.

I don't think it was a political statement about how republicans feel about women.

After all, this particular woman FOLLOWED him home. And then SNEAKED back in
AFTER he had thrown her out. Then she basically took advantage of a man in a DELIRIOUS
fever.

I would have strangled her too.

I think it was a "dream sequence".

She deserves the new Ms. Blankenship award for the most entertaining out of nowhere performance. Loved her and Sally's scenes the best. The Don-strangler story line became too obvious too fast, (but then again maybe he really did do it and Meghan disposed of the body..... doubt it.)
