The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI'm going to go on record and say Bob's Burgers is an awesome show and H. Jon Benjamin
is perfect as Bob Belcher.
That entire cast is just perfect for the roles. I didn't think John Roberts or Dan Mintz could pull off female characters, but Linda and Tina are just amazing.
The only character that gets on my nerves is Gene. He's like Ralph Wiggum, but too much of Ralphie ruins a good Simpsons episode. Just put him in for his mindless lines for laughs, then move on.

(51,314 posts)Some of them are hilarious!
Then there are the opening credits with the pest control companies and what ever store opens next door.
And of course the burger of the day!

(12,132 posts)But I pretty much love everything H. Jon Benjamin has ever done that I've seen. At least since he was Coach McGuirk in Home Movies (Created by Brendan Small who went on to do Metalocalypse. Whom I've seen live in concert lol.)
My wife got a Tina T-Shirt for christmas that just says "Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...."
I got an Archer t-shirt that says "Can't? Or won't?" but my daughter already stole it. :/

(48,798 posts)I saw Dethklok live at the Hollywood Palladium. They shredded. Mastodon and Cynic opened up for them.
(Do they have an Archer T-shirt that says "Phrasing!"???)

(12,132 posts)but damn, I would have loved Mastodon and Cynic - I've seen Cynic a couple times (Even once talked with Paul Masvidal for a few minutes where I was surprised to find out during the lean years between Cynic albums he spent some time in Hollywood and he was the guy that did all those little guitar riffs on That 70s Show. Every time there was a wheedly wheedle wooo between cuts to a new scene, that was him lol).
Never seen Mastodon though. That would be immense!
Yes, Dethklok shredded - it was extra cool that Gene Hoglan was the drummer. That was a fun show.
I would bet a lunch that there is definitely a "Phrasing!" t-shirt. I'm sure I saw that in my web wanderings.
