D.U. Psychologists...PLEASE HELP!

Last edited Tue Apr 3, 2012, 08:33 PM - Edit history (2)

I have been experiencing a strange phenomenon when falling asleep after spending time on D.U.. I find myself continuing to post in my dreams, things I would neve r post on D.U. in waking life.

Even worse are the dream replies I receive. They seem to be written by wingnuts who inhabit the lowest rungs of freeper hell! And when I fire a post back at them, I get angry PM's in glowing red letters from the admins!

Have I stumbled upon a D.U. that exists on the astral plane in a parallel universe? Kind of like D.U.2, only inhabited by even weirder posters???

P.S. - the ad appearing at the top of this post is for "Grief Memorialization - We turn your loved ones ashes into diamonds".... HEEEEEEELLLLLPPP!!!

I've tried to remember what I was 'just reading' after I wake up because it would be fun to see what my subconscience 'wrote', but I never can.

An amazing thing? That the subconscience can actually make us "see" printed words in sentences is staggering, if you think about it...

I have had a lot of weird political-related dreams, ever since the 2010 election which put in this bloody government.

Latest one:

I arranged to go and see my MP, to complain about the 'reforms' to the NHS. I was to meet the MP in the Town Hall (actually this wouldn't be the case, as it's in the next constituency) and an elderly man was ushering everyone in to where they needed to be. He took me into the room where my MP was there, and stood there to keep an eye on what was happening, and on the clock so that we didn't overrun, as there was a queue to see the MP. I met my MP, a much younger man than the first one, but for some reason I couldn't think of what I had to say, and kept talking about 19th-century novels that I'd read. Soon my time was up, and the older man ushered me out. I thought of what I had said, and felt so humiliated at what a fool I'd made of myself - and then suddenly realized - still in the dream - to my intense relief, that it must been a dream, as my current MP is in fact a woman.

I have not met my MP, whom I intensely dislike politically, IRL, but I have sent her lots of e-mails about the NHS; and someone else I know has been arranging to see her about something. But how the talking about novels came into it, I am not sure!

that should sever the link.

I think you are not on an astral plane in a parallel universe but on a cosmic wave in a convoluted universe.
