"What a wretched and peevish fellow is he,
to mope with his fat-brained followers
so far out of his knowledge!"

Henry V, Act III, Scene 7, Lines 133-135.

Sometimes one must look harder to find them.

I don't believe that all of the folk in South Carolina are bad.

Just a single voice, united, and saying at maximum volume: "Not in our name!"

In Washington State, we have an annoying, attention-junkie, anti-government, right-wing libertarian loonbird named Tim Eyman. He's constantly agitating to get ridiculous, damaging referenda placed on election ballots. He gets a lot of "right on!" from his fellow travellers. But most of the time, our state's majority of political and social progressives rise as one and start looking for a window to throw him out of.
