Give Prince a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Prince does not have a star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame but Donald Trump does. His lack of recognition in one of the most well known tributes in the world is a travesty of the highest caliber.

We implore the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to give Prince a posthumous Star so the world can honor him in the company of legends the way he deserves.

How can he possibly not have one already?!

There's something I think everyone on this site can agree with. I had no idea that he didn't have one. He was truly one of the most talented musicians of the past hundred years. It's a travesty if he doesn't have a star.

$30,000 sponsorship fee required from the honoree or their sponsor, that's why a lot of big stars aren't there - they didn't feel like farting 30K away on a star.

prince was very into charitable giving and his faith discourages people from blowing their own horn. he didn't live the hollywood life. it makes sense that he would not want to waste 30grand promoting himself in a relatively shallow way in a part of the country which celebrates a no holds barred lifestyle that he shunned in recent years.

makes total sense

as does trump buying one for himself.
