Instructables got me
Last night blogslut jr sends me a link from the local newspaper that I quickly surmise is a fairly decent prank. After reading the entire story the last paragraph confirms the ruse. I smugly tell my child (who only read the headline and fell for the joke) that she has been inoculated against further April Fools nonsense - go forth and fall for it no more.
I sleep the sleep of a self-satisfied genius.
I wake up and check my email. Oh, joy! An Instructables newsletter. The only newsletter I actually read! Funny, they already sent one this week. I wonder what amazing how-tos lurk within? "33 Unusual Uses for Lonely Socks". Okay. "Old Fridge into Bicycle". Cool. "Nuclear-Powered Bench Top Power Supply". Dangerous. "10 Unusual Uses for Unicorn Tears". Silly. "Change Your Eye Color Permanently". Hey, wait a minute...
They got me. But they made up for it by providing a massive page of how-to practical pranks. So I share it with you:
