Dream Theater's Insane New Metal Opera "The Astonishing"
Has anyone else had a chance to hear it yet? What do people think of it so far? The entirety of the album is based on a screenplay they wrote that takes place in a science fiction world that they created (which could potentially have a limitless amount of material for the next several albums). The plot is very Hunger Games-ish, only they're using music as a weapon instead of bows and arrows. I'm enjoying it so far, I've only had time to listen to the first disc, not the second yet.
