1. This is a huge shock, my dear In_The_Wind ...

May he rest in peace...

6. I don't think he wants to Rest in Peace.

Wherever we go when we are gone he's still out there making waves or surfing them.

2. He was my favorite musical artist.

I'll miss him deeply.

4. I know. I know.

Seriously.

I still haven't heard his last album. Apparently he knew he was Stage IV the whole time, and it colors the whole thing. I'm not even sure I want to buy it just yet, though. I'd rather stay in a stasis where Mr. Bowie is still an inspiration to me that I might one day open for...

8. Wild is the Wind was our first dance at our wedding...

it was the version that was nearly 6 minutes long!

Ever since I heard the news of Bowie's death, I keep hearing that song in my head.

9. I don't own a single CD or album by David Bowie.

I really don't have a huge collection, anyway, but I don't think I've ever owned a David Bowie cassette, CD, or album. Maybe I had the cassette with China Girl on it.

But I have always enjoyed his music and his personality, and I have never felt so deeply sad for the loss of an artist/celebrity as I do for David Bowie. I just can't believe he's gone. I suppose it's time to start collecting those CDs.
