Honestly, it's depressing. The more I read about Roddenberry, the less I think of him.
I wish reality would give me my admiration back.

I haven't fired up my 8 inch floppy drive for nearly a decade now so I'm a little afraid the capacitors would go off like firecrackers if I did.
Heh. Boring technical stuff that sounds dirty amuses me, but yes, I actually do own an 8 inch floppy drive.

(10,575 posts)5. The only thing I did was to drill a hole into 3.5" disks to turn DD disks into HD disks
And I played with my mothers punch cards, but I never came across the 8 inch disk.
