(23,339 posts)... so highly filtered, corrected, augmented by electronic means, that there doesn't seem to be a human voice there.
But I'm an old fuddy-duddy who would rather listen to the pure voice of a Maria Callas, Nina Simone, or Joan Baez.
Maybe this is the voice of the future, or the voice of Europe. I'll listen to it again ..
Thanks for posting!

(10,558 posts)I am not a huge EDM fan but I feel her voice works quite nicely here. I dunno, art to me is about creating emotion, if this moves you to tears, I get it. I've my own artists that move me with their art. Relevantly relatable here: I love Lindsey Stirling for EDM and Jackie Evancho as a female vocalist. Jackie's voice to my ear is unenhanced while Stirling's music is obviously quite layered with all sorts of electronic/non electronic sounds. I love their art equally, or to paraphrase you, they both move me to tears. I don't care how their final product is derived, it's an art and like any fan will tell you: I know what I like. My hat is off to all artists, it is not often easy being them but sometimes the rewards are great, even greater I think, for us their fans.
