*** PSA ***![]() August 29 will be the first “Supermoon” of three in a row this fall. September 28 and October 27 will also fall under this definition, with September’s full moon being the largest of the three, as well as a total lunar eclipse, or blood moon, http://earthsky.org/tonight/august-29-supermoon-first-of-three-supermoons [img] ![]()

1. I love these!
I remember riding in a car with a friend one night. We saw THIS MOON and we had to pull off the road just to look at it.

5. This was as close to sunset as I could get it,
and not the best perspective for real drama. May try to catch moonSET at the river this morning.

6. Now that explains it!
Yesterday I blamed the coffee. Today I couldn't think of an excuse. But now I know.

7. this made me hatch a plan for an adventure tomorrow night
i have to have a photo expedition, especially since moonrise isn't much before sunset and i asked the husband to take me an hour east of town to get pics (it'll be at least an hour and a half since there's heavy construction).
i'll pack some food and we'll enjoy ourselves, unlike my half-assed last photo expedition. that involved me thinking the grasslands were a lot closer, almost running out of gas, the oil light coming on and being eaten by bus. i think the only reason he agreed is because i promised none of those things will happen this time. i was thinking on you today and hope you are ok ![]() |

8. I'll catch a glimpse on my way to bed tonight.
I may see the real treat on my drive to work before dawn tomorrow morning.
Thanks ![]() |
