I did like his pop-eyes when he noticed, and it looks like he doesn't tell her (maybe in case kitty falls).

I don't understand the plane though: is the guy doing the flying, or was it towed?

Probably sunning inside the glider wing and woke up when he started hearing the noise. I'm surprised his weight didn't dip the wing and affect the flight. Perhaps another cat in the other wing?
