About '69 or so I rented an old house in Springfield, Oregon. There was almost no furniture, but there was this old TV.
Mine had rabbit ears.

1. My Dad did, decades ago.

He junked it out for parts.

(He fixed TV's and radios on the side.)

2. I remember when we had an old Philco in a blond cabinet,

it was older than the Predicta, and it certainly was not as cool looking. I remember being told that they were not a reliable television and because of the compact design, it was not easy to change the tubes.

TVs aren't even good furnature anymore and you can't put a plant on top of a flat screen .
