You know what pisses me off about jury duty?

People who drive to it get free parking.

Those noble souls who don't drive don't get a substitute benefit in return.

Parking downtown for a day can cost up to $50.00.

Is there no end to the indignities suffered by the carless?

You can get out of it if you claim that you don't speak nor understand English, and a lot of people make this claim.

So, the Baliff stands in front of the jury pool and says: "All those who do not speak nor understand English, please stand up and stand against the wall." A whole bunch of people get up and stand against the wall. The Baliff then says: "Okay, please sit back down".
