When all I had to do was act like a stupid asshat.

When people try #9 I use it to push people to accept things that the person who left would reject.

I stay silent and let everyone else talk themselves into pretzels, and when they have completely exhausted all their mental energy poking holes in everyone's ideas, I finally present mine last and then remain silent while everyone talks themselves into it because they just want the meeting to end at that point.

About a month ago a coworker came up to me and asked how I got him to not only fuck himself, but feel like it was his idea all along.

Said I'm drafting a Venn Diagram to determine what we know and what we don't know. He replied 'Show off! Include my uncertainty about my gender.' I said we'll include transitional fees in the budget, as a contingency.

then when they answer, just repeat the question, only speak slower. This way no matter what the question was and no matter what the answer was, you'll seem smarter than the person who answered and everyone will think his answer was wrong. Bonus if the guy gets really pissed off and totally loses it while you remain calm and look like the one in control.

Hint: Don't do this to the boss. Do it to someone you are competing with.
