What I heard about that Passion movie makes me feel naked and afraid to watch it.

But I also avoid subtitled movies unless I'm sitting down to focus entirely on the movie. Mostly, I'm listening to the TV in the background while I'm on DU.

"Ffffffrrrrreeeeedom!"

Extra credit for taking a drink for every anachronism. You should be holding on to the floor within a half hour.

A much more human story with the torture and horror as the backdrop to run away from, not the frontdrop.

TPotC is just the totally trite story we've heard all our lives with the added (R?) rated physical mayhem that with our callused eyeball condition is just ho-hum by now.

*****One of O'LOOFAH's many ironies of self-delusion was from back then with the hullabaloo over TPotC. O'LOOFAH dismissed it saying there was nothing unfamiliar to him who had been imbued/indoctrinated with Catholic orthodoxy in Catholic schools and nuns. The irony being that he is now cashing in with another re-tread of "killing jesus".
