THIS is pretty cool...


You can track commercial aircraft via world centers here. See where they been, or where they are going and follow their flight paths.. you can click on various airports below.. and see how much traffic is flying out of Hong Kong or O'Hara International. JFK or SFO. Click on the aircraft, it will tell you where its been, where its going, and what time it will arrive. Scroll down and you can find flight information, and click on the airports, it will show you whats going on live in real time.

I live about 50 miles south of SeaTac International. Jets and planes heading there from the south generally pass high over my house all day long in a steady stream. Right now things have been quiet, likely because we had a windstorm move through today. Once the air traffic overhead restarts, I'll be using your new 'tool' to see where some of these flights have come from and where they are ultimately heading. Thanks for posting this.

I heard a jumbo jet pass over my house at 1am..I wondered where they were going at this hour, probably to Hong Kong, as when I looked it up, there it was.. !!
