My grandmother had every excuse in the world to use apricot, or any other brandy for medicinal purposes... but we all knew she just loved the brandy. I seldom drink brandy myself, (but perhaps its the Ukrainian in me), I like it... and in a strange homage to my grandmother; it is truly medicinal when you have a chest cold.
