These specialty plates are only $30 for 2 years and I will get one of them.

But I will read your opinions.
I AM leaning to the "Reason" one at this point.
But all of these are important issues to me.
(note - I tried and could not post images as a poll)
Oh and size really does NOT matter. The image is as it is.

(68,644 posts)Bikes are cool and sharing the road is important, but many don't bike (or bike safely).
I would love to see something in support of public transit!

(18,497 posts)That's close to my heart as well.

(56,202 posts)If I had a plate like that in Texas, they'd pull me over and arrest me for my plates alone.

(18,497 posts)Most people would just see the flag and not even look past that anyway.
And I learned the art of protective colorization as a child.

(56,202 posts)And you had better learn the art of protective teleportation!

(46,179 posts)"reason;" U.S. flags piss me off because of the culturally attached nationalism.
I picked "trees" in the poll, although I like all the rest, too. I love trees, and MY license plate has a tree on it; so do the rest of the non-specialty plates in my state.
question everything
(48,571 posts)and... I don't know how well there are bike trails and lanes in your state.
alphafemale
(18,497 posts)Actually they are multi-use lanes. Walking, biking, golf cart.
No Vested Interest
(5,189 posts)Everyone loves them.
No danger of getting "keyed" with a "trees license plate.
Bottom line, do what makes you feel good.
(Are you in "Appalachian Trail Guy's" district? Mark Sanford?

(11,597 posts)5 years without one is a long time, I suspect, in South Carolina.

(39,353 posts)Then if you want, send a contribution to the turtles or tree people.
My 2 cents.
