The Cripple Goat
In Scotland, there is a curious harvest taunting custom. When one farmer is done reaping, he sends a sheaf of corn to the next neighbor who has not finished his harvest. When that farmer is finished, he dispatches a sheaf to the next neighbor who is behind in his work, and so on. The sheaf is named The Cripple Goat.
