(17,005 posts)I want to say,
All the Photos I truly Extra Enjoyed, not only being on this Mother's Day but to really SEE them My Friends.
I just had cataract surgery 2 weeks apart. I had two different type of cataracts in my right eye, one very aggressive one that took my vision rather quickly and leaving my left eye with a regular cataract weakened with blurry vision. I'm also happy to say I passed all the glaucoma tests and had Toric Lens put in. Freeing me of my eye glasses and giving me back the vision of my youth.
I truly believe my 60s' are going to be my best years forward. It's GOOD to be back but not fully yet, I am still healing since I just had my surgeries April 21 and May 8th and busy using so many eye drops, tons!
But it's WONDERFUL to say hello to all of you from Garfield and I.

(9,298 posts)HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! What a wonderful assortment this week, Salmon. I wonder how many others experience what I do with my orange & white Rufus kitty. Oh yes, he steps on my keyboard and blocks the screen, but when moved, is just as content to climb up my arm and perch across the back of my neck. What can I say....he wants to learn! So since I'm his mama, guess I have to allow him.
Truly beautiful creatures this week, Salmon, and I thank you for them. Have yourself a glorious Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, .....well, you get the idea.

(30,730 posts)LOLcats, SCE.
I wish I knew what it is about kitties and keyboards. (That is my favorite this week).
For anyone here who still plays board games, kitties like those, too. There is nothing like a cat plopping itself down in the middle of a Scrabble or Monopoly game in progress.

(35,648 posts)As a teacher, I gotta' go with "tell them I ate your homework." The look on the dog's face is priceless. In fact, excuse me, I have to go immediately to my teacher's blog and post that before the term ends!
You're a gem, Salmon, for bringing these to us this week. Also, I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the pic of you and your furballs last week. It's nice to have a face to go with the name.
Now, if you could just post a diagram, picture, chart, or brain scan of how you talk LOLcats so well, I would be forever in your debt.

(3,908 posts)Casey would hit the front screen door and the hook'n'eye would pop open, Casey would hit the door again and let Morris out, Casey would hit the door again and let Casey out. Casey's mother was a Cockapeke and his daddy was a traveling salesman cause Casey was a perfect miniature doberman.
Except in the winter Morris would see the snow run back in as Casey came out. Casey would bound like a gazelle through the snow drifts. He was the happiest living thing I ever met.
The 90 something neighbor upstairs always asked to take Casey on the leash when he walked the two blocks to the drug store. Found out that everyone knew Casey at the drug store because Sven would take him in.
